Tinnitus

Tinnitus, an auditory symptom, is far more than a mere annoyance. It can cause exhaustion, stress, lack of sleep, trouble concentrating, memory lapses, depression, anxiousness, and irritability.

The use of hearing aids with good quality and appropriate fitting can reduce the awareness of tinnitus by bettering one’s hearing and alleviating the difficulty of listening.

If a person experiences sudden tinnitus, the best action to take is to get in touch with a medical professional or take a hearing exam.

For those interested, the specialists at Total Hearing are available to schedule appointments.
